Just a simple outfit for this rainy day.

After seeing all of the A/W 2012 collections... I've decided my favorite trend from them is GOLD.  
And with all of the hot/humid/muggy weather in NYC I can't wait for autumn to begin.

Once summer hits it's hard not to wear dresses everyday.  This maxi dress is one of my favorite dresses because it can easily go from day wear to night wear... and it keeps me cool on even the hottest days (like this one).

P.S.  Bonus points to anyone who knows where I got the post title from.

This week has been a much welcomed break from the heat wave we were experiencing last week.  So I finally broke out my new wide leg, pajama-esque Free People pants.  I love the casual bohemian vibe they add to an outfit and they're SO comfortable, lightweight, and soft... I pretty much want to live in them.  You'll definitely be seeing a lot more of them come fall.

Heat Wave

We're in the middle of a heat wave here in NYC and I can't fathom wearing anything but shorts and a tank top.  Even keeping my hair down for an hour is almost unbearable.  

Today's shoot had to get moved indoors for the most part because my photographer & I were way too hot.
