There's something about a chunky knit sweater that makes me just want to live in it.  Especially when I'm feeling sick (like today).  This sweater feels like a warm blanket wrapped around me all day and it's so easy to style.  So you'll probably see me in knits for the next few months.

Coat Shopping

It's a cool, rainy Friday, and I had the day off.  

That mean lots of errands 

...& of course doing some online shopping.

I'm currently looking for a new coat (seeing as many of mine are worn out and getting holes in them).

It needs to be classic, moderately warm, and versatile, but with a slight edge.

I've been searching for a pair of high waisted, wide leg jeans for ages... and last week I finally found the perfect pair from Vince at Nordstrom Rack.  Normally I admire the clothing from Vince, but never actually purchase it because it's a bit out of my price point.  But these jeans were so discounted, and so perfect that I just couldn't resist.

Fine Wine

As you all probably know by now, oxblood is the color of the season.  But I personally hate the name.  I prefer to think of it as burgundy... or to be more specific- 'fine wine.'

Falling For You

Is it just me, or does the start of a new season make you fall in love with your wardrobe again?  

The past few days have been in the mid 50s in NYC... so I've been having fun layering up in my favorite scarves, jackets, & boots.
