Paint It White

Photography by Bruno Daddi
Gap tee, Zara boyfriend jeans, Ann Taylor belt, thrifted wedges, American Apparel clutch, H&M sunglasses,
Banana Republic necklace, Marc Jacobs watch, H&M earrings

I never used to be into white clothing for some reason...until now (obviously).
Partially because I've always been afraid of getting them dirty (NYC can be a bit grimy at times, but I still love it)
and partially because they're supposedly not-very-slimming.

But this spring I've come around full circle to the idea of wearing white... and wearing all white.  I just have to make sure I don't sit on wet paint or a dirty subway seat.

P.S.  Vespas are amazing!  I went for a ride on my friend's Vespa and it was so much fun.
Next on my to do list-- get a driver's & motorcycle license so that I can get my own.

Kings & Queens : An Outfit Remix

Photography by Bruno Daddi
Vintage sweater, Zara blouse, Zara jeans, Nine West flats, Rebecca Minkoff bag, Kate Spade sunglasses,
Marc Jacobs watch, Givenchy earrings, Forever 21 bracelet

Today I'm "remixing" a piece from my previous outfit... because my new ripped up Zara jeans are
so amazingly comfortable, & versatile that I just can't stop wearing them.  I'm also wearing my favorite blouse which I've used quite a few times in my posts-- my black & white polka dot blouse from Zara.

The navy sweater I'm wearing may seem like a simple, silly, or maybe even ugly sweater to many of you...but it is one of my favorite vintage finds.  Kings county is the original name for Brooklyn and as an NYC native I am always happy to find relics from New York's past like this funky sweater.  I was born and raised in Queens, but I've lived in Brooklyn for a bit & I plan on buying a house there someday.
